DAY 01 Arrive Delhi

Arrive Delhi and transfer to the hotel. Later this morning take guided tour of New Delhi and visit the many places of interest here including Humanyun’s Tomb which is a fine example of Moghul workmanship, the President’s house, the Parliament house, the India Gate, the towering Qutub Minar complex. In the afternoon take a tour of Old Delhi and see the imposing Red Fort and the huge Jama Masjid mosque constructed in 1650 by Shah Jahan, The Raj Ghat, and Chandni Chowk. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel.

 

DAY 02 Delhi/Mandawa

Early morning travel by road to the town of Mandawa located in the Shekhavati region from North – West of Delhi. On arrival at Mandawa check in to the hotel. Afternoon takes a tour of the town and visits the local bazaars and havelis which are traditional houses with beautifully ornate interior courtyards and paintings. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 03 Mandawa/Bikaner

Today travel by road towards central Rajasthan, and into the heavily fortified town of Bikaner, famous for camel farms and its colorful population. Constructed in 1488, Junagarh Fort is like many Rajasthan in that it has very high imposing battlements and is built on a massive scale. This afternoon also pay a visit to the local Maharaja’s palace. Overnight stay.

 
 

DAY 04 Bikaner/Jaisalmer

Travel deeper into the Rajasthani desert to India’s most romantic city, Jaisalmer which is situated right on the edge of the rolling dunes of the Thar desert. With the entire city constructed out of sandstone, glowing orange and pink during the last rays of the day’s sun, it makes for one of the most beautiful sunset imaginable. On arrival check into your hotel and spend some time at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 05 Jaisalmer

This morning take a tour of the city and visit Gadisar Sagar and the Somar Fort for high up on the 80 Meters Trikuta hill and in the evening take a drive out to the royal cenotaphs to view the sunset over Jaisalmer.

DAY 06 Jaisalmer/Jodhpur

From Jaisalmer travel south to the spectacular fortress city of Jodhpur. On arrival transfer to your hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.

DAY 07 Jodhpur

Today visits the Mehrangarh fort, which really gives you a feel for the Rajput war like atmosphere. Also visit the Moti Mahal, the Sheesh Mahal, The Jaswant Thada, The Chittar Palace and the State museum. Overnight stay.

DAY 08 Jodhpur/Mt. Abu

Checkout from hotel, depart to Mt. Abu, Transfer and check in to the hotel, afternoon visit to world famous Dilwara Jain Temple and evening visit to the sunset point, Overnight stay at hotel.

 
 
DAY 09 Mt. Abu/Luni/Udaipur

Morning after breakfast checkout from hotel and depart to Udaipur, enroute visit the Luni, upon arrival transfer and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

DAY 10 Udaipur

Rise early this morning and commence your tour of Udaipur with a visit to the beautiful City Palace, which was constructed in 1725 and contains several smaller palaces inside the grounds. Then it is on the Jagdish Temple dedicated to the Lord Vishnu and built in 1651 by Maharaja Jagat Singh I. Also visit the city’s fascinating museums, the garden of maids of honors, the Pratap memorial that pays homage to Maharana Pratap, Sajan Niwas Garden etc. Afternoon at leisure.
