After an early breakfast, drive 6 hours to Jim Corbett National Park, situated in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is named in honors of the legendary hunter turned naturalist, author and photographer, Jim Corbett, who had helped in demarcating the boundaries and setting the park up.
Arrive at Lodge just outside the Park. Lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Besides being home to the Bengal Tiger and the endangered gharial, Corbett is home to about 580 species of birds making it a bird watcher’s paradise. An evening bird watching walk in the outskirts of the National Park.
Evening briefing on the surrounding forest and wildlife. Dinner and o/n at lodge.
Full day’s excursion to Dhikala, considered the most picturesque location inside the park and the areas around it especially Dhikala Chaur abound in wild life.
Lunch at Dhikala. Drive back to lodge. Before dinner a short video film on the flora and fauna of the area. Dinner and o/n at the Lodge
After an early morning safari, drive back to Delhi.
